The latest aircore drilling program was carried out to target shallow supergene gold mineralisation. The program returned encouraging results expected to be associated with a large quartz vein which remains open to the east and west.
Between 1905 and 1910, Riccaboni and another mine in the area Parramatta, produced 949 ounces of gold from 1,408 tonnes of ore at an average grade of 20.1 grams per tonne and 183 ounces of gold from 280 tonnes of ore at an average grade of 20.4 grams per tonne respectively.
