Mr Paul Donaldson – Chief Executive Officer

Mr Donaldson was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in February 2013 and joins South Boulder from a series of senior management roles spanning more than 20 years with BHP Billiton (“BHP”). Mr Donaldson holds a Masters Degree in Business and Technology from the University of NSW and a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Newcastle.

At BHP, Mr Donaldson was most recently General Manager of the +50 million tonne per annum Area C Iron Ore operation in Western Australia. He was formerly Manager of Technical Marketing based in Asia, contributing to both product suite and product placement strategies for coking coal, manganese and iron ore. Other highly relevant roles include Manager of Port Operations at the Nelson Point Facility in Western Australia.

Mr Donaldson also brings extensive experience in high level business improvement and logistics at base metal operations and a high degree of integrated supply chain management, technical operational management and frontline leadership experience in the steel industry.

Mr Flavio Garofalo – Chief Financial Officer

Mr Garofalo is a CPA with more than 20 years experience in the mineral exploration and mining industry. He joined South Boulder Mines in 2011 after working with Kagara Ltd as Chief Financial Officer since 2004 and prior to that was the General Manager of Finance and Company Secretary for Titan Resources NL, a position held for 10 years. He commenced his career in auditing at Coopers and Lybrand, specialising in the resource and finance sector. Mr Garofalo has vast experience in project finance, capital raisings, corporate management and investor relations for listed resource companies.

Mr Zeray Leake – Eritrean Country Manager

Mr Leake is a Geologist with over 12 years experience in the development and exploration of potash, gold, base metals and industrial minerals.

Mr Leake previously worked for the Geological Survey of Eritrea.

Mr Dayle Kenny – Mining Engineering Manager

Mr Kenny is a Mining Engineer with over 30 years experience in the resources industry, in various engineering, senior operational and management roles in Australia and Africa.

Mr Kenny’s most recent position prior to joining South Boulder Mines Ltd was Technical Director with Toro Energy where he oversaw the prefeasibility study and the trial mining exercise to validate mining processes and verify conversion of mineral resources to mineable ore reserve.

Mr Kenny also has broad experience in project evaluation, mine development, mine operations, and mine management across such commodities as iron ore, bauxite, diamonds gold, kaolin and uranium. He has also worked closely with local traditional owners in a number of communities that have been impacted by mining and is a strong advocate of indigenous involvement.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Melbourne University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Western Australia.

Ercosplan are world renowned potash consultants with over 50 years multi-disciplinary science experience.

Ercosplan are involved with potash fertiliser production worldwide and potash exploration in Africa.
